Why can't groceries replenish themselves...
Grocery shopping is one of those annoying and yet satisfying chores that I dread doing every single month.
I only go BIG shopping twice a month. I spend 210-220ish dollars the first trip and around 250$ the second big trip. And from there I fill in the gaps with fresh veggies! There's only two adults in the house so I feel like that is A LOT to spend on food in a month. And yet, we have literally no food in the house, month after month.
It would probably sicken you though if I went through and told you how much I actually throw away each week/month. Veggies just don't last and we just can't eat fast enough! You have to bulk buy to save money and there's literally two of us.
So, you do the math there. It's annoying! And if you hadn't caught the vibe, it's grocery buyin' day in this house!
I'm headed to THREE stores, which is also annoying because, like the fuck do I need to go to three stores for?! I'll tell you, with the rising cost of, well everything... I have to look for the best prices for everything so I don't accidentally pay 48 dollars for bell peppers, ya know, being "financially responsible" or whatever!
Happy Grocery shopping, warriors!
XOXO
