An actual luxury...

    Today my sister and I went on a pleasure trip to one of our favorite bridges! It's only about a 45 minute drive from where we live, but with gas being so high right now, pleasure driving is starting to be a thing of the past. 

    I am not here to complain about gas prices...What the fuck am I gonna do? Not get gas?!  But I have a jeep, which is a gas guzzler and I have more important things to pay and buy than 200 bucks a week in gas. 

    Anyway, we went and visited our favorite bridge and left when it started to rain! Then we went and did a little pleasure shopping for odds and ends then made an impromptu grocery shopping trip out of it! We went in with the intention of only getting a few things and a few things turned into a 250$ food run! Doesn't it always seem that way?! 

    All in all it was a really fun and easy day! I haven't had one of those in quite a long time! I had some time to think about my future and I am going to seriously start weighing the options of moving out of state. 

    I have family here, yes. But the only people I am going to miss are my 8 nieces and nephews (and my dad) and that's why God invented cars and airplanes!

    Nobody else in the fam would probably give a fuck, honestly! Today I boldly left our families group chat because it seems to be that any time I ask a question in there, I get 1 response and everyone else just ignores me! And I decided today that I am done with the blatant disrespect! I deserve more. And I am about to make sure they all know it! 

    I have come such a long way and I am not about to let people who think it's perfectly okay do shady shit get away with wrecking my mental health now!

Placed them in freezer bags and then froze the second batch. That way I have chemical free cookies ready to take out of the freezer whenever I want and bake fresh! My Manic...

     I have been stressing myself out lately about perfection. I can’t share anything I do unless I know it’s perfect. It’s probably going to give me an ulcer.       I decided today that I didn’t need perfection.      It’s not about that. I mean I’ve always known that but I am so unbelievably hard on myself that I allowed those feelings to creep in and attack my inner peace!        I haven’t felt that manic in about a year! So it was definitely something that I had to take care of right away! I almost forgot that my manic was an emotional response to stress.          I was being unappreciative of my own strengths, too hard on my personal weaknesses and turning a blind eye to my mental state.       I called it quits yesterday and decided to do absolutely nothing all day to let my brain rest and recover from my own abuse. Ditch Kitty!

  It’s been awhile since I’ve had an update on my little rescued ditch kitty! Sirius is thriving! he came to me at 1.5 pounds soaking wet and he’s up to 7.5 pounds now! Which is perfectly in line for his age! He’s all up to date on his vaccinations and he doesn’t have to go back for another year! (Unless he needs to!) His personality can only be described as wildly unpredictable and entertaining! His favorite things are wet food, cucumbers and pull tabs from my almond milk and playing nonstop!
