On the positive side...
I left the house for the first time in a week today. I went Easter shopping for my Nieces and Nephews! I decided I was going to do something fun and interesting for them this year, which I’ll share after I do it in case any of their parents read my blog before then! I want it to be a surprise for everyone!
I knew that If I waited everything was going to be super picked over and I hate compromising when I have a vision. If it’s last minute, winging it is my specialty but, this time, this time I have been meticulously planning this out for a couple of weeks now!
So I needed it to be just right!
I thought, “I’ll do something cheap and easy this year, but fun!” My cheap and easy Idea cost me nearly 200$ 180$ to be exact! Typical Shelby!
BUT! I got everything I needed and am super excited to watch the kids do all the activities I have planned for them! I even included some cute little gifts for the newest baby (we’re still waiting on his arrival!) I’m almost patient. But I just can’t wait to see what he’s going to look like!
I am on the mend, I think! I don’t wan to jinx myself, but I am feeling a little more myself today. I am still having some stomach pain, residual from my gallbladder attack I assume, but I am keeping a close eye on it, just in case. My health is my # 1 priority at this time; mental and physical!
Anyway, I am off to relax, I AM still recovering from a terrible head cold. It was really hard to carry groceries up my stairs today because I am still having issues with congestion and breathing.
I am trying to keep the mindset, that this isn’t permanent and I am not bound by my ailments. It’s easy to get lost in the negatives but the positive point is, I am alive. And for right now, that’s enough for me.
XOXO
