Sun(yay!)...

    I have loved these past few days with the kiddos, but I am so ready to sleep in my own bed and be in my own space! I’m exhausted! My babes have endless energy and I, a 28 year old do not have endless energy! 

 

    I don’t think that I will be leaving my bed for the next 24 hours! Which is SO exciting! I plan on binging 2 Broke Girls, eating, napping and sipping on cocoa in my favorite elastic pants and oldest holey tee! 

 

    YIKES! I am really starting to show my age! Don’t judge! 28...29 next month (BARF!)

 

    I am really trying to build a life for myself. Everyone keeps telling me I need to go back to school and get my teaching credentials... I’m already mostly there...but, I think that’s a terrible idea! I swear, have 0 patience and kids tend to find me more amusing than they do a, “person in power” figure ... I am not that girl. Trust me! Once a class clown, always a class clown. 

 

    I listen to music ALL day long too and I am not sure I’m ready to cut out swear words and sexual innuendos... I take my music selections very serious.  

 

    I keep telling people that and they keep talking about the teaching shortage. I have lots of teacher friends and from what I understand, I don’t want to even step in that direction. They’re burnt out, unappreciated and the stress from their day to day job is enough to drive them to drink. Which, I mean...this can be interpreted anyway that you see fit.

 

    I’m sure it’s not like that everywhere... but how can I really be sure?! 

 

    Anyway, I am off to start my lazy night with food, bad tv and comfy clothes! 

 

    I hope your weekend was full of relaxing things!

  Listen, I’m in my cookie era! Here’s what I did! I made a double batch, scooped them and placed them on parchment paper to keep them separated. Placed them in freezer bags and then froze the second batch. That way I have chemical free cookies ready to take out of the freezer whenever I want and bake fresh! This way I can bake 2 if I want instead of making up a whole batch.

Adult Money...

Having access to adult money is ridiculous sometimes! Gets notification: “Your TV will be delivered Saturday!” Gets another notification: “Your remaining packages will be being delivered several a day until Christmas” Like okay, Siri! Thanks for reminding me of my inability to stick to the budget I created each week! I go over it by an offensive amount each week! I should know by now that I can't even follow my own rules.  If you're good at this kind of stuff, I applaud you!  XOXO  Also, thanks for selling me out, SIRI- you bitch!

What would you tell your former self if you had the chance?

So yesterday was all about confessions and today I am going to talk about what I wish I knew back then that I know now.   I have always thought the world was out to get me. If not the world, the people in my world. I haven ’t always had the easiest time and I have had some hard shit happen in my life; but who hasn’t?    Here’s a list of some of the things I've dealt with: 1.  Being an overweight child 2.  Having undiagnosed anxiety 3.  Being bullied 4.  Having literally no self confidence  5.  Being completely introverted   And h ere are the things I wish I could have said to myself back then :   Bullies:    It’s hard to even describe what it’s like to be bullied. Unless you’ve been there you just don’t know. My parents always made sure I had nice, name brand clothes and that I had anything I ever needed.
