THREE HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE...

    THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE POSTS AS OF TODAY! 

 

    I *OFFICIALLY* made it O*N*E whole year blogging! 

 

    This was something I told myself over and over that I was going to do over the past year, but I didn’t honestly think I would keep up with it! It’s another one of those things that you tell yourself that is important and then life hits you hard and fast and all of those things that seemed super important just fall away and become things you were GOING to do, but didn’t. 

 

    But, guys...here I AM! 

 

    Now, I know that writing 365 days of blogs might not seem important to you, but to me, I finally have a whole year of triumphs, let downs, sadness, extreme happiness and everything in between. 

 

    I have shown who I am over the past year. As many of you already know, It was a rebuilding year for me. I needed to start from the ground and build from there; I was a MESS. Throughout the year I have taken you along with me for worse or for better. 

 

  • Weight loss
  • Mental health
  • Therapy 
  • Adventure
  • Learning
  • Wishing
  • Praying
  • Striving
  • Mindfulness
  • Contentedness

 

    And MANY, MANY other things! 

 

    I already have my feet firmly planted on the ground and I’m ready to make some big changes in 2022! Here’s a quick snapchat of my vision board:

  • Sharing more of my art!
  • Purchasing a home!

    And a BUNCH more that I’ll be sharing with you all throughout the upcoming months! 

 

    I want to make moves both physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally! 

 

    I’m not naive or foolish enough to claim this year as my own; we’re still in the trenches of a virus that just wont DIE! 

 

    But I am HOPEFUL enough in myself to be who I am and be brave enough to go after all of the things that I put off for years of my life while I hid away being scared to shine! 

 

    So, here’s to keeping my dreams in perspective and never hiding away again! 

 

    Happy NEW, EVERYTHING! 


    Side note: if you didn't watch the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter On HBO MAX...Do yourself a damn service and DO IT! I've waited most of my adult life for this! 😭😻

  Listen, I’m in my cookie era! Here’s what I did! I made a double batch, scooped them and placed them on parchment paper to keep them separated. Placed them in freezer bags and then froze the second batch. That way I have chemical free cookies ready to take out of the freezer whenever I want and bake fresh! This way I can bake 2 if I want instead of making up a whole batch.

My Manic...

     I have been stressing myself out lately about perfection. I can’t share anything I do unless I know it’s perfect. It’s probably going to give me an ulcer.       I decided today that I didn’t need perfection.      It’s not about that. I mean I’ve always known that but I am so unbelievably hard on myself that I allowed those feelings to creep in and attack my inner peace!        I haven’t felt that manic in about a year! So it was definitely something that I had to take care of right away! I almost forgot that my manic was an emotional response to stress.          I was being unappreciative of my own strengths, too hard on my personal weaknesses and turning a blind eye to my mental state.       I called it quits yesterday and decided to do absolutely nothing all day to let my brain rest and recover from my own abuse. Ditch Kitty!

  It’s been awhile since I’ve had an update on my little rescued ditch kitty! Sirius is thriving! he came to me at 1.5 pounds soaking wet and he’s up to 7.5 pounds now! Which is perfectly in line for his age! He’s all up to date on his vaccinations and he doesn’t have to go back for another year! (Unless he needs to!) His personality can only be described as wildly unpredictable and entertaining! His favorite things are wet food, cucumbers and pull tabs from my almond milk and playing nonstop!
