Another birthday down...

    Celebrating another birthday! 

 

    Remember when said I like to keep my parents young by throwing them children themed birthday parties! It’s just a tradition I started 5 or 6 years ago and I never quit!

 

    This year for my mama is: LEGOS!

 

    Playing with legos is such a fond childhood memory of mine! So I thought there was no better theme! 

 

    It’s never too extravagent but, it’s something! 

 

    Dinner: ( I didn’t get pictures, shame on me!) Mozzarella pesto chicken topped with a delicious tomato slice paired with homemade parmesan alfredo black bean pasta!

 

    It was absolutelu delicious! And SO easy!

 

    Dessert was a low carb/low calorie/low sugar almond flour chocolate cake with an amazing whipped chocolate fudge frosting! 

 

    Gift: Stackable coffee mugs and coffee! Staples in my opinion! 

 

    Conversation: endless and priceless!

 

    I’m feeling blessed for another year with my mama!

  Listen, I’m in my cookie era! Here’s what I did! I made a double batch, scooped them and placed them on parchment paper to keep them separated. Placed them in freezer bags and then froze the second batch. That way I have chemical free cookies ready to take out of the freezer whenever I want and bake fresh! This way I can bake 2 if I want instead of making up a whole batch.

Adult Money...

Having access to adult money is ridiculous sometimes! Gets notification: “Your TV will be delivered Saturday!” Gets another notification: “Your remaining packages will be being delivered several a day until Christmas” Like okay, Siri! Thanks for reminding me of my inability to stick to the budget I created each week! I go over it by an offensive amount each week! What would you tell your former self if you had the chance?

So yesterday was all about confessions and today I am going to talk about what I wish I knew back then that I know now.   I have always thought the world was out to get me. If not the world, the people in my world. I haven ’t always had the easiest time and I have had some hard shit happen in my life; but who hasn’t?    Here’s a list of some of the things I've dealt with: 1.  Being an overweight child 2.  Having undiagnosed anxiety 3.  Being bullied 4.  Having literally no self confidence  5.  Being completely introverted   And h ere are the things I wish I could have said to myself back then :   Bullies:    It’s hard to even describe what it’s like to be bullied. Unless you’ve been there you just don’t know. My parents always made sure I had nice, name brand clothes and that I had anything I ever needed.
