A quaint fall day...

    I think what my soul needs is a quaint fall day! 

 

Here’s what I NEED: 

  • Cider
  • Donuts
  • Wine 
  • Hayrides
  • Pumpkins
  • Sunflowers
  • A cozy sweater
  • Boots
  • Crisp air 

 

    I've been pretty much doing nothing but working on illustrations for my cook book! BUT, I made some time to create for fun! Here's one of the best fall traditions in my personal opinion and as a bonus, I made it from memory of one of my favorite places!






    Yeah, that sounds absolutely amazing and I think it’s probably exactly what I need in order to help me work on my mental health! Often times I forget that my mental health is often tied to my mundane daily routine! 

 

    I wake up, I get some coffee, I stretch and or workout, eat (often times the same meals) then wash up and get to work.

 

    Doing the same thing every single day literally kills my spirit! Working from home is HARD, you have to focus hard on getting things done! It’s easy to go take a nap, get cozy and watch TV or just do little things all day that allows you to avoid getting work done! And let me tell you, it can get EXHAUSTING! 

 

    So as apart of my effort to create a better space for my mental clarity, I need to allow myself days like the one I’ve created above and shake up my routine! 

 

    I think that is something vital for anyone's life! You need to shake things up in order to stay sane! 

 

    Tomorrow I am going bowling with my sister (one of our favorite things to do on rainy days!) and then going grocery shopping and then probably some shopping for some fun stuff! 

 

    If I’ve learned anything from all the shit I've gone through and struggled from, it’s that life is so short, you can’t wait around for perfect moments, the right time or great cash flow! Those things pretty much don’t exist! Be in the now and lean into it!
