I'm alive...

   

    I made a joke saying that I wasn’t domesticated enough for no power, my sister then said, she thinks I am TOO domesticated for no power! I had to laugh, because she’s right! 

 

    It’s just a giant inconvenience! And then you have me walking into every room forgetting we don’t have power and I STILL try and turn on every light. Without fail. 

 

    Anyway, I got lucky and my power came back on a few hours before it was estimated to! My sisters however is still out and calling for Monday now for turning back on! 

 

    She drove her camper over to my parents house and her family is camping in the front yard for now! 

 

    So tonight we went over there for swimming and a mini family game night! And I’m just getting home! I’m STARVING! So I have to eat, yes, at friggen midnight! (Hard eye roll)

 

    Anyway, I am feeling a lot better today! 

 

    I didn’t write about it yesterday, but I had a giant migraine! (BIGGER EYE ROLL) those absolutely ruin my days! I was diagnosed with chronic migraines years and years ago! So even though it’s not new for me, it still absolutely SUCKS! 

 

    
    Anyway, I am off to eat some salad, at midnight. Jesus!

  Listen, I’m in my cookie era! Here’s what I did! I made a double batch, scooped them and placed them on parchment paper to keep them separated. Placed them in freezer bags and then froze the second batch. That way I have chemical free cookies ready to take out of the freezer whenever I want and bake fresh! This way I can bake 2 if I want instead of making up a whole batch.

My Manic...

     I have been stressing myself out lately about perfection. I can’t share anything I do unless I know it’s perfect. It’s probably going to give me an ulcer.       I decided today that I didn’t need perfection.      It’s not about that. I mean I’ve always known that but I am so unbelievably hard on myself that I allowed those feelings to creep in and attack my inner peace!        I haven’t felt that manic in about a year! So it was definitely something that I had to take care of right away! I almost forgot that my manic was an emotional response to stress.          I was being unappreciative of my own strengths, too hard on my personal weaknesses and turning a blind eye to my mental state.       I called it quits yesterday and decided to do absolutely nothing all day to let my brain rest and recover from my own abuse. Ditch Kitty!

  It’s been awhile since I’ve had an update on my little rescued ditch kitty! Sirius is thriving! he came to me at 1.5 pounds soaking wet and he’s up to 7.5 pounds now! Which is perfectly in line for his age! He’s all up to date on his vaccinations and he doesn’t have to go back for another year! (Unless he needs to!) His personality can only be described as wildly unpredictable and entertaining! His favorite things are wet food, cucumbers and pull tabs from my almond milk and playing nonstop!
