Trying something new...

    Another project down! This one was completely impromptu from a different failed project but I don’t hate the way it turned out! My house is made up of mostly brown things. I’m not saying that I hate the color brown but black calls to me in ways I can’t even express! 

    So I am SLOWLY but surely getting rid off all things tacky brown! But I like to re-design and revamp on a budget! So I tried something new! 

 

    Contact paper for my bathroom counter top. How long will it last?! I am not sure! How long did it take?! 2 hours and A LOT of cuss words!

 

    Here’s the end result: (I need new hardware too! But that’s a whole new ballpark!) It's not perfect, but I tried my best!

 

 

    I went out today in hopes to find the rest of my bedroom decor/final touches! I ordered a bed set (FINALLY!) Who knew finding the perfect green would be so DAMN difficult!?

 

    I can’t wait to show you all the end result (and frankly I am excited to see it myself!) 

 

    I think tomorrow I am going to go out again and check out a different store (last and final, FINGERS CROSSED!)

 

    The next thing on my list is to DEMOLISH my closet and organize the HELL out of it! Getting rid of clothes, reorganizing and throwing out things that no longer bring me joy!!
