Leg and glute day almost killed me...



    I said to myself, "get a workout bike, Shelby...It'll be fun, get your heart pumping, work your whole body and make you feel good." 

    Those things are all true... but it almost killed me! haha

    I got my speed up to 28MPH and that was on the 3rd highest resistance setting... can you say SPAGHETTI legs?! 

    Listen, I'm grateful that I am in a position to even use the machine for 20 whole minutes at a time ( I wouldn't have been able to before!) Lord help me find the strength to do it again! (just kidding, I'll be doing it again for sure! But like maybe not at 28mph on a hard resistance setting!) 


    Here's what I know! Nothing!  I know nothing about working out because I never did it before! I've been boxing for around a year now! So that I've got on lock, I do what I like and it's all good! It literally makes me feel amazing when I'm done! SO I'm hoping that the workout bike who is awaiting a name from me (TBD) will give me all those same feels once I don't feel like I'm going to die using it! Or maybe that's permanent, I don't know! Never have I been a bike girl! But, here's to NEW adventures! 


    OK, my sister JUST reminded me that my exact sentence when I was done with my 20 minutes of speed racing on a stationary bike was this:

 "I'm pretty sure I just liquified my insides..on purpose... I paid money to liquify my insides..."


    Followed by several highly exaggerated deep sighs...probably not that exaggerated...honestly!
