Hoppy Easter, Bunnies!

    Happy Easter, y'all!

I’m battling a cold or really bad allergies! I am not sure! The majority of my family has been vaccinated and are going to do a small gathering outside at my parents house which they have a huge front yard and back yard. I probably won’t be attending unless I wake up and feel A LOT better. I don’t want to risk giving anyone anything! Especially my grandparents (who have also been vaccinated!) But, since we don’t know the specifics of the vaccine yet, it’s still unclear if it’s going to work or help in the long term. That’s one of the reasons that I gave my body to science! Because the world deserves peace and If I can be apart of that, all the better! (I get the 2nd one on the 12th!)

I am sad, knowing that this could be the second Easter in a row that I don’t get to see family. With that being said, I understand why and I am fully committed to keeping my loved ones safe.

If I do go, by some miracle that I am feeling a lot better, I will probably wear a mask. That way I can keep my germs contained. And I will be sure that the rest of the family feels comfortable with it as well!

This holiday was morphed into candy, Easter Baskets, gifts and a scary department store bunny for us to take our kids to and get photos with that they almost always are screaming in terror in. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE watching my babies (7 nieces and nephews) hunt for Easter eggs and seeing the joy on their little faces. But it’s also so important to me that they know what the TRUE holiday is about! The resurrection of Jesus Christ. Good ol’ JC! Which is why we tell them the story every single year to be sure they know it isn’t about candy or gifts!

If you aren’t super religious, you might not care. I myself am not SUPER, SUPER, religious. Just enough to know the stories, parts of the bible and know how important things like this are. I have a true connection with religion and learning. There is a calm and deep connection in learning about new things and finding the root of each religion. I guess I can’t identify as any specific religion, I just have leaning tendencies!

"Four things you never talk about:"

  1. Religion
  2. Money
  3. Sex
  4. Politics

It seems that those four are most peoples,“rule of thumb” of things not to discuss! Not me, There’s pretty much nothing I won’t discuss! It’s how we LEARN. From others opinions and ideations. I guess I am what you would call an open-minded learner. I want to hear things from every side... Even if I think that the other side is dead wrong. I like to know the way people think. It helps me be a better listener, conversationalist, person and learner!

I don’t like feeling uneducated. I like knowing about most topics that way if I am thrown into a conversation (I know, eww!) I don’t have to feel like an idiot for not knowing much or at least being able to throw my opinion into the ring!

Having a thirst for knowledge is a real superpower in my opinion. Which is something I will get into more tomorrow! I will pick up where we left off here!

In the meantime, I hope that you all have BLESSED Easter Sunday with your loved ones!

Advice of the day: Spend each and every single day as if tomorrow was going to be your last. Because you truly never know when it will be!

XOXO
