Daily Affirmations!


 


 

    I am trying to do better about being kinder to myself. 

 

 Here's the truth:

· I hate my butt. It's flat and shapeless! I am working on it okay? "I have a great butt...I have a GREAT BUTT!" 

· I don't love my body... but I AM working on that as well, day by day! 

· I don't always think things will get done, but if I tell myself enough that they will, miracles can happen!

· I don't think I am hideous, but I don't necessarily think I'm beautiful. It's a process! 

· I hate feeling like I'm taking up space! 

· My thoughts are intrusive sometimes, but important nonetheless!

· I am 10/10 the funniest person on the planet, fight me!

· I put A LOT of pressure on myself all the time.

· I DO think I am intelligent! 

· I know I'm not perfect, I am PERFECTLY fine with that! 

 

    Life is complex and hard! And we all have feelings about who we are and what we love and hate about ourselves. I can’t fix my feelings overnight or maybe even over a decade. We judge ourselves much harsher than the outside world does. We see things in ourselves that nobody else does because at the end of the day we spend every single waking hour with ourselves, sometimes it’s insufferable. Which is where negative feelings come from. 

 

    It’s all about balance and the courage to call yourself out when you aren’t being fair to yourself, about yourself. 

 

    Life isn’t ever fair.. that’s a simple fact! 

 

    We can make subtle changes by just being fair to ourselves. 

 

    Here’s to a bangin’ Friday night and an even better weekend! Go out and see all the beautiful things!
