It's ALL in the name of SCIENCE!

    Today I took a GIANT step towards science! Say what you want about the science behind it or the validity of the virus itself, I don’t care! I was HAPPY to give my body to science today! 1st vaccine down! 2nd on April 12th! 💖💪 (Pfizer-BioNTech)










 

    I know there are A LOT of mixed feelings about it; I guess I just think that no matter the risk (within reason), if this is going to help us take a step forward, I want to be apart of the solution! So I went and did the damn thing! 

 

 

    If you’re wondering what the side effects of the shot are, let me tell you:


Nausea

chills

Headache

Low grade fever

Muscle soreness 

Tiredness

Swelling to the injection site 

Joint pain

Redness to injection site

Swollen lymph nodes

Just feeling a unwell (will subside within 24 hours)

 

    There’s a slight chance for an allergic reaction and those symptoms are:

 

Difficulty breathing

Swelling to face and throat

A fast heartbeat

A bad rash all over

Dizziness and weakness

 

    If you experience any of those 5 symptoms, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room (per instructions!)

 

    It is also good to know, if you haven’t done much research, this does NOT contain the SARS-CoV-2 and cannot give you COVID. 

 

 

    My advice is to just do your research and make the best decision for YOU! Don’t let anyone pressure you into anything you aren’t comfortable with! That goes with ANYTHING in life! Don’t let anyone bully you! Only YOU know what’s best for you!

My Manic...

     I have been stressing myself out lately about perfection. I can’t share anything I do unless I know it’s perfect. It’s probably going to give me an ulcer.       I decided today that I didn’t need perfection.      It’s not about that. I mean I’ve always known that but I am so unbelievably hard on myself that I allowed those feelings to creep in and attack my inner peace!        I haven’t felt that manic in about a year! So it was definitely something that I had to take care of right away! I almost forgot that my manic was an emotional response to stress.          I was being unappreciative of my own strengths, too hard on my personal weaknesses and turning a blind eye to my mental state.       I called it quits yesterday and decided to do absolutely nothing all day to let my brain rest and recover from my own abuse. Ditch Kitty!

  It’s been awhile since I’ve had an update on my little rescued ditch kitty! Sirius is thriving! he came to me at 1.5 pounds soaking wet and he’s up to 7.5 pounds now! Which is perfectly in line for his age! He’s all up to date on his vaccinations and he doesn’t have to go back for another year! (Unless he needs to!) His personality can only be described as wildly unpredictable and entertaining! His favorite things are wet food, cucumbers and pull tabs from my almond milk and playing nonstop!
