I admire a good binge!
I am 10/10 more of a music person than I am a T.V person but that doesn’t mean I don’t love a good binge! Especially since the new norm is staying in! It's hard to find a ton of things to do inside! You can only clean, organize and stare off into space so much before you go nuts! When I'm not binging, I'm reading, writing, listening to music or creating in one way or another. But, for those times when nothing seems to be jiving, Netflix and Hulu are there to save the day!
Here are my top 10, would 10/10 recommend binge-worthy shows:
1. The Handmaids Tale (this is just plain disgusting and yet interesting; I can’t look away!)
2. You (Joe is undeniably magnetic, murderer or not)
3. Criminal Minds (Reid, Morgan. No other words needed)
4. 11.22.63 (This was interesting as hell and I wish it was longer than 8 episodes!)
5. The Umbrella Academy (I really enjoyed this! So far there are only 2 seasons but I am hoping for a 3rd!)
6. Stranger Things (just do yourself a favor and binge it!)
7. Friends (this is a classic and I’ll re-watch it over and over!)
8. Supernatural (I belong to the Winchester boys!)
9. The Good Place (I love some good forking humor!)
10. Little Fires Everywhere (this mini 8- episode series is based on a true story and is fantastic!)
There are other really great ones to binge and I am always open to suggestions but here are my top 10! There’s a wide range of genres here and I think there’s something for everyone!
Today the only productive thing I did was my nails. They’ve been naked for like two weeks and it was seriously starting to wig me out! It’s just about the only “vanity” thing that I do for myself! Other than that, It was a seriously low energy day for me! I just wasn’t feeling it! But, now I am full of energy and ready to get shit done! I’ve always been more of a night owl than a day bird! I am learning to be both! I have a love/hate relationship with sleep. It’s either all I want to do or I can’t sleep for shit! Anyone else feel me?
On a separate note, I’ve been listening to a podcast series called Writing Excuses everyday! There are 16 seasons of it with different topics in each so I am playing catch up! It’s been so great to get back into the swing of it all though! Taking a minor sabbatical from writing was exactly what I needed to remind me why I started in the first place! I love what I do even if there’s, “no money” in it! It just takes one person to see and appreciate a piece of my work! I’m also praying that I find the strength, patience and devotion to finish this book!
Happy hump day, friends!
XOXO
