Confessions of a socially awkward, awkward girl!

 

    It’s been a long time since I’ve written down actual confessions! Who is ready for some absurdity? Here we go!

 

1. I am 100% a, “I have an appointment at 4 PM, so I can’t do anything else during the day kind of girl. (Literally such a shitty trait!)😑

2. I mentally leave any social situation at least 30 minutes before I physically leave. (Girl, bye!)👋

3. I am an introvert but when I am nervous, I talk uncontrollably about useless facts that my brain decided to store. (“It’s just something I know!”) 

4. I read the the last chapter of any book I read before I read chapter 1. (This is weird, don’t be me!)😫

5. You either get a whole lot of me or none of me at all. Based on your vibe is how I respond to people in social situations. I’m literally a mood ring but in human form.😅

6. Not really a confession, but I am jamming to music 98% of the time and I listen to virtually every genre. 

7. A confession I’ve already confessed to, but compliments literally make me cringe. (I’m strange as fuck!)

8. I have a sick obsession with shoes. I can live without everything else... shoes make the outfit.

9. I feel absolutely naked if my nails aren’t painted. I’m not fancy, they don’t have to be professionally done, I just need some color on my fingers.

10. I hate when my sleeves on shirts/hoodies are too short, I get anxiety and I like holding and fiddling with them in social situations. 👽

11. I HATE when my fingers are separated for too long, it’s freaky.

12. I don’t follow recipes because I like to put my own spin on things.👌

13. I speak in movie quotes and it’s probably really annoying but I don’t care.

14. I have a dark sense of humor but I know when dark is too dark. (Is this self control? I don’t know what qualifies!)

15. I was a germaphobe BEFORE the pandemic and it floors me that people had to be told to wash their hands regularly. (What kind of fucking scrub do you have to be to have to be told such a basic life skill?)💩

16. I am incredibly awkward in social situations, even if I know you.

17. I am a hardcore list maker. I need an, “order of operations!” 

18. I love plants so much but I am an admitted plant murderer. I can’t keep those pretty bitches alive for anything. 💚💔💣

19. I am obsessed with lotion but refuse to put it on my hands. (slimy fingers make me want to barf)😬

20. Being creative in any way is my happy place. I love trying new things and being creative is my outlet for pretty much everything. 

 

    Alright, that’s enough confessions for the day! I love doing this because does anybody know how hard it is to say things out loud about yourself (or write them rather!) it helps me get things out that weigh heavy on me, things that make me uncomfortable and things that maybe need to be addressed. Most of the things above are weird quirks of mine, some find me adorable and others find me absurd. I personally think I’m weird as hell but that’s an insiders perspective and doesn’t mean that I still don’t love myself!
