Breakdown...

    I have my 3rd dentist appointment to get work done at 9:40 in the morning, BARF! We've talked about this before, I HATE the Dentist and furthermore, I hate when I have to get any sort of work done. But here's the situation, let me tell you why I'm having so many issues with my teeth as of late. 

It started off like this:

1. I didn't have insurance, dental work is expensive. (So I put it off!)
2. My childhood/adulthood dentist was rude, rough and had a horrible bedside manner. (So I avoided her!)
3. She made me massively uncomfortable!(Avoidance!)
4. The office wouldn't workout a payment plan with me and wanted $1500 upfront before they did any work. (I live paycheck to paycheck, like most people.)
5. I have massive dental-phobia!
6. She messed up stuff in my mouth that I paid out of pocket for...and lied about a filling she, "did."

What's different now?

1. I DO have insurance now! 
2. I found an office that takes said insurance! 
3. The Hygienist was SO friendly, explained everything to me and was gentle!
4. The Dentist himself, not very talkative, but also EXPLAINED everything to me during the procedure!  
5. It was confirmed that my last Dentist messed up my mouth and I wasn't given proper care.
6. It was confirmed that I have TMJ and they're going to do what they can to help me with it...which was never offered to me, ever. 
7. I was told I have a teeth clenching/grinding issue that needs to be corrected...also something never told to me. Something they're also going to help me with
8. Even though I am still mad scared of the Dentist, I feel COMFORTABLE there. 

    There's A LOT to rake through here, but I've never had a good experience at the Dentist, until now! 

    Here's your PSA to GO and get your teeth cleaned regularly! AND to find an office that treats you the way you should be treated when you're there! Because they're not all bad, they're not all rude and as a reminder, YOU DESERVE GOOD, QUALITY, AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE! It's not one or the other!
