When a good day goes bad...

Today was my nephews 6th birthday party! (his actual birthday is the 16th) but we celebrated today!

His party was great, he seemed to have a really great time! And seeing my babies smile and have a good time is the absolute best feeling in the world.

Afterword, the adults (my siblings, all of them) played some games and shared some good laughs.

Later on in the evening, I started feeling lightheaded, crampy and like I was going to throw up. (Lady problems coupled with severe anemia, don’t mix!)

So my brother in law started my jeep and after ten or so minutes, away we went! Oddly enough, my battery light was on, which was weird, my battery is brand new and my car started just fine.

I got to the end of my sisters road, about to hit 115 and my (ABS) pops on. I didn’t think anything of it, the road was icy and it’s traction control.

My dashboard lights started to dim, my stereo wasn’t on at all, I drove as fast as I could and it wasn’t fast enough.

I called my dad, gave him all the information that I had and he told me to drive straight home and it sounded like my alternator was dying.

Further down the road, my headlights completely went out. No lights inside of the car; a complete blackout.

To say it was an extremely scary drive home is an understatement. In addition to that, my car completely died...at the end of my street. 2 minutes before I got home.

So my dad had to come and rescue me.

Between the anxiety of that drive home and me not feeling good at all, I was quite literally the most exhausted I’d been in quite some time.

So I went to bed; finally.

    And the day ended.

XOXO
