Obsessed!

    So I know you’ve all been on the edge of your seats waiting to see my finished product! I spent the last 4 days refinishing my childhood dresser! 

 

    And here it is! 

    I am OBSESSED with how it turned out! I am so proud of myself for actually doing it! I’ve been saying for YEARS that I wanted to do this and now that I’ve done it, I can’t wait to find my next project! (I even mounted my TV! I don't need no man!)

 

    It was definitely a learning process! Here’s a few things that I learned during the process:

 

• There are A LOT of steps to just PREPPING the project! 
• Paint and primer combos are tricky and will make you question whether or not you know shit about fuck.
• I learned that trusting the process is KEY!
• Watching paint dry is literally the worst. 
• Wax sealant is applied with a cheesecloth and I find that super weird. 
• Wax sealant smells like a headache in a tin. 
• Knobs are ridiculously over priced. (But I bought them anyway! It made the project!)
• Rollers aren’t always the answer. 

    And last but not least:

• TRUST THE PROCESS!

 

    I only said a few minor curse words (or many, we’ll never know) and at the end, it was absolutely worth all of the late nights, swear words, home depot trips and endless paint splatters! 

    Now I can't wait to find the rest of decor for the room vision I have! You know I'll keep you all posted! (I know, I know, keeping you all at the edge of your seats with my redecorating obsession!)
