T.H.E.R.A.P.Y

Sometimes going out with the intention of spending money frivolously is just what your soul needs.

I don’t spend crazy amounts of money and like to think of myself as frugal. I occasionally get in moods where I will spend money and then go weeks and weeks without getting anything that isn’t completely necessary.

But today? Today I needed to go out, spend money and forget about the fact that life is a never ending cycle of waking up, working, paying bills and cooking dinner, cleaning and repeating.

I always go out with the intention of spending a few hundred and then when I get out there I’m like, “yeah... I don’t really need that!” and only spend around 100. I also find myself trying to add check list stuff in my cart. That is completely the opposite of what I try to do when I am in full retail therapy mode. But WHY make multiple trips if I don’t have too? Am I frugal or lazy?! I guess we’ll never truly know! (It’s lazy, definitely lazy!)

Anyway, I snagged some new clothes, a spring/summer time rain coat, some home decor, because obviously, snacks, coffee mugs because I don’t go anywhere without buying one or 1000, beauty items and probably 25 other things that I can’t remember right now!

On the way home I got a bangin’ salad from Hungry Howies, because I wasn't about to cook anything today and now I am at home snuggling up with some warm blankets and watching Disney movies!

Also, YES! I AM 28 years old and I DO have Disney+ and watch all the old school shows I grew up on! Sorry not sorry!

I think I am going to get extra cozy and watch some more movies before heading off to bed!

    Happy hump day, friends!

XOXO
