You can’t have grace without a little bit of grit!

Saturdays are for reflection and gratitude!

Here’s a list of things I’m thankful for right this second:

  • My health
  • My weight loss
  • My supportive friends and family
  • The fact that I didn't let the bullies win
  • The journey I've taken to get here, right now
  • The work I’ve put into myself so that I was able to heal from the inside out.
  • The Past (sounds strange but it shaped me!)
  • My health program (thanks for showing me the way!)
  • Being 100% unique, some lead, some follow.. I’m the leader of my own, everything!
  • The coffee in my hand and the roof over my head

There’s a ton more, but I’ll spare you all the list!

You might be sick of seeing my posts about this! I’m sorry that I’m not sorry! 🙊 I post because I know some of you are genuinely cheering me on, some of you are standing in the shadows wondering what I’m doing, some of you don’t care one single bit and others are fake cheering me on. That’s all okay! I’m not looking for anyone’s approval!

I post for my own accountability! 👌

If you’ve made it this far! Thanks for reading! If you've been supporting me from day 1, thank you!

Today’s lesson is: You can’t have grace without a little bit of grit!

Life is a series of struggles! There is no way around them! We are shaped and molded by everything, good or bad! It’s safe to say I’ve had my struggles! But, I didn’t let any of them win. I'm still standing, stronger than I think I've ever been. I can't count on that forever, Keeping your mental and physical health is WORK. Not occasional things you work on. If you want to be happy and healthy physically and mentally, all the time *which is impossible!* it requires DAILY WORK!

It will do a lot of us good to remember that! If you aren't putting in the time or the effort you aren't going to see the results that you want. They don't come to those who WISH for them, they come to those who WORK for them!

XOXO
