No fear!

    I have no artwork around my house that is my very own and I decided I want that to change. I have never been confident enough in myself to actually share my artwork let alone frame it and put it in my house as decor. 

 

    So today I decided that I was going to shove all that aside and start making art that I can surround myself with! 

 

    This is going to be the first piece! I am redoing my kitchen and choosing BRIGHT, happy colors! I didn’t really have a theme in there, just a collection of shit I liked. Which is generally how I like to decorate, but I am big on themes!


 

 

    So I’m doing the damn thing! I’ll share photos when I’m finished! I’ve already purchased a bulk of the decor but I have finishing touches! 

 

    March is my birthday month, so I am going to try and find small ways to celebrate myself! April is going to be a busy month! We’re going to The Great Wolf Lodge with the whole family (18-20th) and then heading to Florida (29th-the 4th!) we’re doing Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! Beach days and downtown Disney! It’s going to be so nice to get away and be in the sun! Especially given the fact that I am literally HALF the size I was the last time I went on vacation and was absolutely miserable! So this time I am looking forward to the new experience!  

 

 

    In other news, I am in clothes that are 3-5 sizes SMALLER than I was in before. WHAT?! I am so freaking proud of my progress! I wont lie that I am always wishing I was further along, but I am so THANKFUL I am NOT where I was! Always thankful! 

 

 

    Anyways, here’s to mini celebrations, fun vacations and kitchen remodels!

  Listen, I’m in my cookie era! Here’s what I did! I made a double batch, scooped them and placed them on parchment paper to keep them separated. Placed them in freezer bags and then froze the second batch. That way I have chemical free cookies ready to take out of the freezer whenever I want and bake fresh! This way I can bake 2 if I want instead of making up a whole batch.

My Manic...

     I have been stressing myself out lately about perfection. I can’t share anything I do unless I know it’s perfect. It’s probably going to give me an ulcer.       I decided today that I didn’t need perfection.      It’s not about that. I mean I’ve always known that but I am so unbelievably hard on myself that I allowed those feelings to creep in and attack my inner peace!        I haven’t felt that manic in about a year! So it was definitely something that I had to take care of right away! I almost forgot that my manic was an emotional response to stress.          I was being unappreciative of my own strengths, too hard on my personal weaknesses and turning a blind eye to my mental state.       I called it quits yesterday and decided to do absolutely nothing all day to let my brain rest and recover from my own abuse. Ditch Kitty!

  It’s been awhile since I’ve had an update on my little rescued ditch kitty! Sirius is thriving! he came to me at 1.5 pounds soaking wet and he’s up to 7.5 pounds now! Which is perfectly in line for his age! He’s all up to date on his vaccinations and he doesn’t have to go back for another year! (Unless he needs to!) His personality can only be described as wildly unpredictable and entertaining! His favorite things are wet food, cucumbers and pull tabs from my almond milk and playing nonstop!
